Any table-like Splitter layout can be defined through a collection of nested Splitter panes. Individual panes and pane collections can have different resizing, expand/collapse, and scrolling settings.
Any number of layouts can be defined, and the current layout can be selected programmatically through the API. Content pieces are defined separately from layout definitions. This way a certain content piece can be reused in multiple layouts, eliminating the need to define the same type of content twice.
ComponentArt Splitter has a built-in ability to enable collapsing and expanding of individual Splitter panes.
